One last run to end the year. AEGES winter tour with the mighty CHEVELLE. See you in December, America!
Fortunate to make this happen and to make it back home again! Our Spring tour took us back out on the road wth Chevelle along with 3 great festivals: Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and Rocklahoma. Although those festivals were plagued with some ugliness and tragedy... (lighting storms, tornado warnings, & one of my all-time favorite artist's suicide) we seemed to come out on top of everything this time. We were never rained on, never canceled, even though two of those festivals were shut down due to severe weather warnings right after our set. We met and made friends of people we look up to, we got to play in front of thousands of people and spread our music to many new ears the way god intended it to be heard; live and sweaty. And greasy.
The Chevelle camp is truly professional and good hearted. It's been a blessing to be out with such great people. And meeting so many beautiful people in all these cities, talking to them, hearing some of their stories and rocking the hell out with them. There is an enormous bond between people through music that never fails to amaze me.
Playing the Revstar at AFTERSHOCK Festival 10/2016
So, Yamaha is making these incredible guitars known as their "REVSTAR" series. They sent me this beauty to check out, and it is currently one of my main guitars. P90s, it plays great and has vibe for days. I'll be taking it out on the road in May. Go check these things out!
